Music: Immortal

For me, this is a very powerful song, where you have to think about your life and ask yourself if you're happy with it.

When I was a kid I remembered that one day, my parents punished me because I didn't want to eat so they locked me in my bedroom and I started to think about all the bad things I had done and after that I started to think about other things and one of them was the death. As a kid, I was very afraid of die so I cried all night until I get asleep. 

I had heard the music of Marina and The Diamonds but I didn't consider myself a fan of her until I started to listen to her album 'Electra Heart' and then she released a new album called 'Froot' where this song came from, so this song reminded me the time when I was very afraid to think about my death and wanted to be Immortal. Nowadays, I am not afraid of die because I think that since we were born the only thing that we are sure of, it's our own death because at the end of the day we're all humans and that's our nature. 

It's been a while since I had thought about death, I know that for a lot of people it's a difficult topic to talk about but this song tells that death is part of be a human.

After I had heard the song, I started to read the lyrics and this is one of my favorite part of the whole song: 

I wanna live forever

Forever in your heart

And we'll always be together

From the end to the start

It's a very cheesy lyric but at the same time it's kind of nostalgic and romantic. I had had so many favorite songs but this is a special one, when I feel nostalgic even sad I usually listen to this song, it makes me feel good and makes reminded myself all the things I've done in my life.

Describing: Veracruz

In 2014 I went on vacation to Veracruz,I have seen the sea before but I have never visited Veracruz so it was my very first time and I was very excited about it. 

Veracruz has a warm climate, it's a beautiful place to visit, especially if you want to visit the sea. In Veracruz there are people that is very kind. 
There are so much biodiversity so if you visit Veracruz you have to know that there are animals like spiders monkeys, manatees, armadillos, boars, rattlesnakes, etc... 

The gastronomy in Veracruz it's very delicious and special, you can find Tamales, Picadas, Pescado a la Veracruzana, etc. My favorite food in Veracruz are the tamales, I love them so much. 

Veracruz has so many traditions so the ones I find interesting are:
 The Veracruz Carnival; this Carnival is one of the most recognized in Mexico and worldwide, it's considered as one of the most joyful in the world. The parades last nine days and they are very colorful and there are a lot of people.

My weekend: Antique Toy Museum

My father was going to take us to visit Tepoztlán but there was so much traffic so we changed the plans and we had to go back home, I was disapointed because I really wanted to go to that place but then he asked me and my sister if we wanted to go to another place near, and after that I remembered the antique toy museum so I told my dad that I wanted to go to that museum and he accepted.

When we arrived, I realized that it was a small place, well not that small but I imagined the museum more big, then we went up the stairs and my father bought the tickets so we can enter the museum. When we entered there was a full room of showcases where all the toys were. In the first room we entered there were a lot of toys, dolls and teddies but all of them were old and I liked that because I've never seen very old toys and now I know how the toys were in past generations. 

The next room we entered, there was only dolls and Barbies of different types and most of them were special edition barbies, for me that room seemed to be very cute and I liked it, the next one it was full of action figures but I have to mention that the majority of toys were mexican, so another room we entered was full of mexican fighters and there was a lot of fighter's masks. 

When we finished to see all the rooms, we went to the exit, where there was a store of anique toys and japanese food. I really enjoyed the museum it was a very interesting and funny experience.

The meaning behind the quote it's about a way for hope but not only that, for me it also means that although we sometimes do not have the basics to achieve our goals, we will always have immense potential within us to exploit and become better persons.

My name is Daniel Salazar, I live in México City, I was born on July 27th.  My parents are Francisco Salazar and Graciela Cortes, I have one sister called Karla. When I'm in not at school, I like to play the piano, write, draw, read books and listen to music.

I am not a very fan of sports because I am bad at them, I'd rather watch them in T.V. When I was a kid I practiced swimming and I was very good at it. I like rainy days, especially when I'm in my home, I love art so much, one day I would like to be as good and perfect as one of my favorites artists.

Purpose of the blog:
